I have a Booking form, submissions are always open.
How do I book Consults and Touch-ups?
There are options for both on the same Booking form. You can also DM me on Instagram for both consults and touch-ups.
Have a tattoo idea but don’t know what it could look like or how to describe it?
On the Booking form you can request a consult. A consult can be to develop/discuss an already formed idea, or we can use the time to brainstorm tattoo ideas together. consults are free and are usually always booked at 11am.
What if Im only after a Quote?
Best thing in this case is to shoot me a DM on Instagram
How do bookings work?
Once you have submitted a request via the Booking form, within a week (or two) Leili will be in touch, they’ll organise a booking date for you. I’ll be in the backseat to ask questions and chat about any design stuff. Once a booking date is arranged a deposit will be requested to lock in the booking.
Who is Leili?
Leili (They/Them) is helping me with emails and organising your bookings, they possess spreadsheet skills that are beyond my comprehension. If you’ve been here for a while, this will be refreshingly organised. They may already be familiar to you, Leili does admin for a few artists at the studio, and you may have seen them working reception at the studio on Saturdays.
Why pay a Deposit?
Deposits are a prepaid amount towards your tattoo that acts to secure the booking. This is not optional and is required to lock in the booking. We take a deposit as a security incase you don’t show up, or at the last minute realise you can't make it, or if during the booking you change your mind, etc etc.
Can I Reschedule?
If more 72 hours notice is given and a new booking date can be made, your deposit will roll over to lock in the new booking. Deposit can only roll over once.
What about Cancellations or No Shows?
Cancellations happen, if you need to cancel there’s no hard feeling. The paid deposit is forfeited and you can go on the waitlist if you’d like to rebook in future. No shows however are a deal breaker, a no show means your deposit is forfeited, it also could result in any future booking being viewed as low priority.
Im already booked in, can I change Design or Placement?
Both Design and Placement can be changed from your original booking request, you need to give minimum 72 hours notice if either have changed. these are case by case and will require a discussion. Each booking is booked with enough time to complete the requested tattoo, changes in the design or placement can require a change in booking time or extra drawing time, if no notice was given this may result in a reschedule or forfeiture of the deposit
I have a Voucher, can I use it?
If you have a Voucher please let us know in the initial email, as any voucher to the amount of/or greater than $100 can be used in place of a deposit.
A more concise breakdown of Deposit info is available on the Crucible Website
