Custom designs
I love working with your ideas, taking my visual style and applying it to your custom content. Custom requests can either be completely your own idea, or maybe you saw a flash design and it gave you ideas, Any and all custom requests are always welcome.
Flash and Modifying Flash
Flash is anything I have already drawn. Flash designs are only tattooed once. I often reuse the same components for multiple different flash designs, so we also have the option of Modifying flash.
Everything I draw I’d love to tattoo as is, but am happy to Modify flash to suit, colour can be removed or replaced with black, we can edit the composition or swap out content, etc, in some instances I will keep the original unmodified flash design as available flash.
Redraws
Did you want a design i've already tattooed? while each design is tattooed once, in most cases I can do a redraw, what this means is you’ll get the same concept, content and vibe as the tattooed design, but the composition will be different, little things will be altered to set your design apart from a tattoo that already exists. If the tattoo was a client's custom request I will not be able to do a redraw.
Other tattoo artists
My work is not available to be tattooed by other artists and I do not sell my designs to be tattooed by others. I wouldn’t tattoo another tattoo artist's work either.
Other artists illustrations
I am open to tattooing other artist illustrations (artists that do not tattoo), If permission has been given by the artist to use their work for a tattoo. If we have permission from the artist it’s very cool and awesome to also support them by buying some of their work.
Other cultures imagery
I’m a white cis-male, other cultures imagery & motifs or objects of ritual and ceremony are not for me to tattoo. However, if the imagery/object pertains to you and your culture and you’re happy to work with me to do the tattoo for you then we can have a conversation about how to respectfully proceed, or, if possible I’ll direct you to an appropriate tattoo artist to work with you on your idea.
Other things I won’t tattoo
Guns are off the cards, any gun that was made with the sole intention to kill another human is not something I want to tattoo, historical weapons can be discussed. Sci-fi movie guns and video games guns are the exceptions. it should also go without saying, but ill say it anyway, no racist anything!
Sizing
Sizing isn’t fixed, most of my flash designs have a minimum size but can be done at a variety of sizes, I prefer to size design to the scale of the body/placement. There is such a thing as too small, if you request a design at a size that’s too small for the content/detail, I’ll be able to provide a recommended size range for the design.
Off limit placements
I currently don’t tattoo necks, ears/behind ears and anything on or in the face. head tattoos are the exception.
‘Un-correct’ placement
Do you want a design upside down, or some text backwards so only you can read it in the mirror, let’s do it! for some reason it pisses people off.
